Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Testora, published by Lupleg Studios, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Testora mobile application and related services. Testora connects app developers with real testers for structured app-testing campaigns.
Information you provide
When you create or use an account, Testora may process your email address, authentication information, password-reset and email-confirmation status, optional Google or GitHub account information, display name, profile details, privacy settings, notification preferences, and support messages.
If you join a campaign, you may provide device and operating-system information, platform, testing availability, installation or participation confirmations, milestone and check-in information, ratings, issue descriptions, severity, report type, app version, expected and actual results, reproduction steps, screenshots, images, files, replies, chat messages, poll responses, and other feedback.
If you publish campaigns, Testora processes campaign and app information you submit, including app category, supported platforms, testing goals, external testing links, duration, tester targets, testing focus, reward points, campaign status, and creator analytics.
Information collected through use
Testora may process progress, campaign participation, feedback status, points activity, daily activity, follows, groups, posts, events, bookmarks, direct messages, notification preferences, push-token information, and account and security events. The app may also process technical information needed to operate the service, such as device type, operating-system version, app version, language, network and connectivity information, and diagnostic or error information.
Camera, photos, files, and notifications
Testora may request camera or photo-library access when you choose to attach a feedback screenshot or profile media. It does not use those permissions to continuously monitor you. Testora may use local and remote notifications for campaign updates, feedback, check-ins, account messages, and other notification preferences you enable. You can manage notification and media permissions in your device settings.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, provide campaigns and testing workflows, match and manage testers, verify participation and milestones, deliver feedback and chat, show points and eligible rewards, send notifications, provide support, improve reliability and safety, prevent abuse and fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing and visibility
Information may be visible to the developers, testers, or other participants who need it for a campaign or community feature. A developer may see a tester profile, device information supplied for a campaign, participation status, and feedback; campaign participants may see permitted chat messages, attachments, polls, replies, and profile information. You control information through available privacy settings, but information intentionally shared in a campaign or community feature may be copied by its recipients.
Testora uses service providers to operate authentication, database, storage, and notification functions. The current technology includes Supabase Auth, Postgres, Row Level Security, Storage, database functions, Expo notification services, and platform services required to deliver the app. Providers process information only as needed to provide their services and under their own terms and privacy policies. Testora does not sell personal information.
External testing links and app files
Testora links to external Google Play, TestFlight, web, or other testing destinations configured by campaign creators. Those destinations are operated by third parties and have their own privacy policies and terms. Testora does not host or distribute APK files. Do not enter credentials or download files from a link unless you trust the destination and have verified it.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Account, campaign, feedback, chat, points, notification, and related records are stored in the Testora service for as long as needed to provide the service, preserve campaign records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, or maintain legitimate business records. Screenshots and other uploaded media may be stored in service storage with access controls. Some data may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion. Request account deletion or privacy assistance at luplegstudios@gmail.com; we may retain information where required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance.
Some app data may be cached locally on your device through Expo and SQLite support. Deleting the app may not delete files or information stored by your device, external testing providers, or other participants.
Security
We use authenticated access, database access controls, Row Level Security, storage policies, and encrypted transport where supported by service providers. No online service or device is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
Children
Testora is not directed to children below the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law. Do not use Testora if you cannot legally consent to this policy. If you believe a child provided personal information improperly, contact us.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw optional consent. You may change profile, privacy, and notification settings or disable device permissions. Contact us to make a request; identity verification and lawful exceptions may apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
