Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ProScan, published by Lupleg Studios, handles your information. ProScan is a document scanning app that works without sign-up.
No account required
ProScan does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to scan documents.
What stays on this phone
Scans, PDFs, folders, and signatures are stored on this device. ProScan does not upload them to a ProScan server, and it does not sell them.
Camera
The camera is used only when you scan a document, ID, card, or code. ProScan does not record audio with the camera.
Photos
Importing from your gallery uses the system photo picker. ProScan reads only the image you choose.
Backup
If you turn on backup, ProScan writes a backup file into a folder you pick, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, or a folder on this device. That file goes to the place you chose. ProScan does not keep its own copy in the cloud.
Sharing
Sharing a document uses the share sheet on this phone. Sharing the app sends the store link through the app you pick.
App updates
On Android, a Play Store build can ask Google Play whether a newer version is available and show a notification so you can install it. That check does not include your documents.
Device backup
If Android backup is on for this phone, the system may include ProScan files in your device backup. You can turn that off in Android settings.
Children
ProScan is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law for consent without parental approval. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child in error, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of ProScan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
